Why Use Positive Affirmations When You Can Use Subliminal Audio?

Positive affirmations have long been employed as a basic tool for self help, but now they are receiving competition from a new form of development – subliminal messaging.

Subliminal hypnosis is being used more and more firstly because it provides great results , and also because of its near effortless nature. All you will need to do is play the subliminal album passively and the subliminal statements will go to your subconscious mind. All subliminal audio essentially is, is affirmations – only that they’re recorded to a music track and moved to a greater frequency. Although you won’t have knowledge of it, the subliminals will get into your brain effortlessly and begin to gradually make changes to your subconscious self beliefs and patterns of thinking.

So instead of standing in front of the mirror rehearsing your affirmations over and over you can carry on with your day – in effect subliminal messages will save you lots of time and effort. The result will be comparable, but with the extra advantage that you can put on the subliminal audio without anyone’s knowledge and allow the affirmations to effortlessly sink into your unconscious mind as you do other activities – while resting, perhaps while working or even studying.

This is not to say that using subliminal messages are going to be absolutely effortless in themselves – you still need to take some positive action to achieve your aims, however they will , increase your determination and self-discipline, as well as generally making you much more likely to realize success. This change happens naturally – your thoughts change starting from your subconscious mind and anywhere after a few days up to of a couple of weeks you will observe a marked advancement in your self personality traits, self beliefs, and also your actions.

Much like positive affirmations they can be advantageous and help you in numerous areas – from increasing your manifestation success rate to helping to increase your intelligence.

So for anyone who is familiar with repeating positive affirmations you should know how subliminals will help too – the end result won’t be amazingly different, it will produce a similar result, only with the benefit of saving you some time and not having to repeat them every day.

Why The Law Of Attraction Will Not Help You Achieve Your Goals Unless You Obey The 4 Laws Of Action 2

Why Most People Fail to Successfully Achieve Their Goals

They are missing ACTION. They are NOT taking steps to achieve their goals. It’s like they’re waiting for results to come on a silver platter just because they’re visualizing success. I’m going to tell you right now – you get exactly what you put into it.

If you take action and you increase your speed of implementation, you’ll experience a phenomenon. In fact, there’s a good chance that you’ll be able to achieve more in the next 12 months than you did in the previous 12 years.

4 Laws of Action to Add to the Law of Attraction to Help You Achieve Your Goals:

Law #1: Take a look at your affirmations and make sure they are about things you have a true passion for. That probably sounds obvious but all too often we pursue things because it pleases a family member or because we think it would be financially lucrative, even though our heart isn’t in it.

Law #2: Use very precise wording when visualizing or using affirmations. Instead of saying, “I’m a millionaire,” say “I’m in the process of becoming a millionaire real estate investor.” Be precise and acknowledge that you are in the process of becoming whatever it is you want to become. It will be easier for your subconscious to align itself with that.

Law #3: Create weekly and monthly goals. This is where the Law of Action enters the picture. Sit down with your calendar at the beginning of each month and write down your goal for that month. Maybe it’s a specific income goal or a goal about closing a real estate deal for example. Then write down the specific actions you will take each week to accomplish that goal. Also include actions such as training, reading and networking.

Law #4 Have a clear plan for your day and be sure to reflect and learn from the powerful lessons that come your way each day. Ask yourself these 7 key questions at the end of every day. I have found that when I do this in a purposeful manner, everyday, it completely changes both my outcomes and my outlook on life.

* What made me happy today?

Think of all the things that made you happy, and list them. They could be the beautiful sunrise, the smile of a child, a connection you make with someone or the difference you made in the life of someone.

* What am I grateful for today?

Instead of complaining, try being grateful for everything you have. Remember that most people in the world likely have far, far less to be grateful for than you do.

* What lessons did I learn today?

Life is full of lessons both small and big. We learn from both the good things that happen to us and the not-so-good things. Write these lessons down and review them once a week and over time you will be amazed at how much you have learned.

* What was my good deed today?

This has been the most difficult question for me. I try to live a life helping people. I contribute to various causes. But my definition of a good deed is doing something that I went out of my way to do for someone else, with no expectation of gain (as opposed to opening the door for someone, letting a car butt in ahead of me or other acts of civility.)

* What was important to me today?

Reaching milestones, targets, and acquiring new customers is important to me. But do I really want those milestones to define what is the most important to me? Yes, goals are important but am I concentrating on the goals that are truly the most important to me? Keep your perspective on life. Pay careful attention to what is truly makes you happy.

* What did I do to move me towards my goals today?

As you reflect on each day, think about the three or four key life goals that you have outlined for yourself. Ask yourself honestly how the things you did today helped you stay on track with one or more of those goals?

* What will make tomorrow even more outstanding?

Every day, I visualize what my next day will be like and what outcomes I will achieve. I prescribe an amazing day for my next day. A funny thing happens. That is exactly how the vast majority of my days appear.

So go ahead and prescribe a fantastic day full of purpose every day – and watch yourself attracting what you visualize, day by day!

Why The Law Of Attraction Will Not Help You Achieve Your Goals Unless You Obey The 4 Laws Of Action

Do you think you can you really just think and grow rich?

Well, you’re in for a rude awakening. I am sure that even Napoleon Hill would agree with me that you cannot merely think and grow rich. The Law of Attraction only works when paired with what I like to call the Law of Action.

As a former manager of large building projects, I know that you can’t think a building into being. That would be absurd. Yes, every project begins with a vision and inspiration. But you can only visualize for so long. For the building to take form you need detailed blueprints. Then you need to assemble the right materials. And, finally you need to hire the right people with the right skills set.

Why would you think that’s any different with your business and life goals? I’ve talked to many people who visualize and use affirmations waiting for the Law of Attraction to work but they remain stuck in a rut. They’re sitting around wondering why they’re not making any progress.

Soul & Ego: This Human Trip 2

Opposed to this fluidity and aliveness are the dense ego structures, where the fluidity of our soul gets caught in frozen, rigidified, paralyzing rituals of suffering and tedium. They are entirely predictable, hold us spellbound by their dramas of pain and blame, yet are ultimately boring and deadening, compared to the aliveness and delicacy of the soul’s potential. Drug-like, they stimulate but also put us to sleep. They are the soul’s sleep.

Through the channels of the ego structures, the substance of the soul moves, but only in predictable, circumscribed patterns, repetitiously, over and over; like a tiger imprisoned in a cage, endlessly circling, instead of having the spontaneous powerful freedom it was born for.

It is the same life force, the same essential substance of self, but imprisoned by structures built of impressions, memories, woundings, images, thoughts, feelings, concepts, fears, beliefs, expectations, and attempts at protection. And yet, within is always the potential to flow freely, without restriction, and to release into the world that true elixir which is uniquely yours to express and give.

The work of development, of liberating our potential, must follow a double path.

One path leads within, to connect to, invite, and encourage the energies of our soul; to become more present to them, allowing them to become magnified and to manifest more fully in our consciousness and our life.

The other path allows us to step back from our ego patterns, to separate, so we can observe, understand, and through skillful means, start to dissolve them. We need to cultivate enough witness awareness and knowledge to do this.

Gradually, following this double path, we will notice the structured,  habitual self, the one we have come to call “I,” loosening its grip, until finally it no longer holds captive the true, luminous, infinite I whose life we have been waiting to live.

Soul & Ego: This Human Trip

What is this human earth-trip about, anyway? I found myself saying to a client today: We are souls on earth, here to unfold our potential from within. And we have no idea what that potential is.

What are we to do?

First we need to turn the spotlight of our attention inward, where that potential resides. We need to invite it to grow brighter and reveal its light and nature to us. We need to listen inwardly, so that we hear its impulse to act and express, hear and feel its messages to us, and sense its reality. It is subtle, it is quiet; it takes careful, attuned listening. We need to make a space for this in our lives.

We also need to gradually dissolve the rigid walls formed by the structures of our ego, that keep us caught in believing we are less than our true potential. When those barriers are reduced, our soul can become more free to flow and express itself, in the way that it alone chooses.

I sometimes think of this free-flowing soul-nature as colors, or music, or as a particular fragrance that carries your personal signature. Or I think of it as movement flowing in never-repeating forms and patterns you alone create. You can think of it as sculpted patterns of light and energy, intricate functions you perform in concert with others, supplying your special element that is needed to help complete the whole and move it forward.

That and more is your soul’s potential; contained within it is every quality and capacity, in combinations unique to you, to be expressed through physical and non-physical means. How it will manifest is unknown until it starts to unfold, and even then is a continual revelation and surprise.

Is Your Life Working Wonderfully? How To Ditch The Fear Of Success 2

2. Make sure you don’t step across anyone’s boundaries. If you can’t upset them you’ll stay safe. Small, frustrated, even angry, but safe. Your own boundaries will become a bit blurred and you may end up with ‘doormat’ stamped on your forehead. But hey, you’ll be safe.

3. Don’t admit to having any ambitions. Career ambitions? Business growth ambitions? Personal success? NO, No, No, not if you want to feel totally safe all of the time. People won’t like it. It’s not what you were meant to do.

4. Don’t rock the boat. Like, saying what you really think. Having opinions of your own. Who knows, your meek attitude combined with endless hard work might just get you to the top (yeah, right).

But if that sounds too restrictive, not much fun and all about other people’s stories, try the Hero’s approach ‘

Subtitle – The Hero’s Guide to Great Rewards (Making Fear Redundant)

1. You could have REALLY big dreams. Go on, live dangerously just for once, get a pen and paper and write down exactly what you want to do with your life, your business, you career. And you are only allowed to write things down when you’ve spent at least ten minutes daydreaming about this so you’ve got the full picture, all the sounds and smells and feelings – whatever you need to make your dream as vivid as possible.

2. Know where you begin and other people end. I’m not suggesting you turn into Mr or Ms obnoxious 2010 but if you change and their equilibrium is destroyed maybe that shouldn’t stop you changing. Maybe they can change too. Maybe you can change and keep all the best bits of who you are now. Maybe they can love your success. The possibilities are endless if you learn how to be your wonderful, authentic self.

3. Be as ambitious as you want to be. For you it may be running a company with a turnover of a million or more. Or a billion. Or it might be to start your own business. Or live your lifelong dream of becoming an astronaut. Or becoming the National Apple Pie Baker champion. Or all of the above (which would not be mutually incompatible, though you’d be awfully busy). And if it doesn’t feel quite like you, start off with a slightly smaller ambition but always have the big dream in mind.

4. Get the facts right, be knowledgeable, then express your opinions. You’re a grown up now and can have your say. It doesn’t mean you’ll always be right or get your own way. It does mean you will have a space in the universe and not be background scenery. And then you can really blossom.

Of course, this alternative view means that you won’t be surrounded by a total lack of fear. Yes, there will be times when you have to step out beyond your comfort zone. But the rewards will be great. You might get external rewards like riches, fame and fortune.

Is Your Life Working Wonderfully? How To Ditch The Fear Of Success

There are several ways of getting rid of fear. Some people advocate facing it head on. That kind of person will lead you to the edge of the diving board and then give you a push. No doubt they do the same if you are in front of them with a parachute strapped to your back and hesitating before you jump.

This gung-ho approach works for some things but it’s difficult to do it by yourself, in the same way that it’s difficult to inflict pain on yourself. So if you have to be self’motivating you’re probably not going to take that route.

Another approach is to avoid fear completely. If you want to expand your business, make your career a bit more zappy, or make a major change in your life avoiding fear will just make you stay stuck. But for completeness, here are some guidelines on how to do it -

(Subtitle – the Yellow Custard Rabbit’s Guide to Never Being Afraid)

1. Don’t have any big dreams. Make sure your dreams are very small. That way no one is threatened, everything will stay the same and if you move forward, it will be at the speed of an infinitesimally slow snail. You won’t have to fear change because it isn’t going to happen. The really big dreams are scary because they involve you and your purpose, they are personal.

Shift Work And Stress – Are You Tired And Up To Your Eyeballs In Debt Too? 2

Well according to some of the most gifted financial experts in the world – it’s quite simple. It all comes down to a lack of financial education.

You see I don’t know about you but I never received any financial education or advice when I was back at school. Even basic things like how to save, invest and make your money work harder for you never rated a mention in the school curriculum.

For most people when they break away from the chains and shackles of school life, they set out on a journey to find a job, take a year or two off to travel the world, or lock themselves into years of further study at University.

And when they eventually do find their ideal job, they live pay cheque to pay cheque – never really finding a way to get ahead financially.

So is any of this ringing true for you?

Because in order for you to get ahead financially you have to first sit down and really understand where you’re at financially. What are your expenses and how does that compare to your income? For so many people today – they are spending well above what they are earning.

Now as a shift worker you no doubt work extremely hard each week to earn that pay cheque and certainly put up with working erratic hours in the process. So if I was to ask you if you had a good understanding of your finances – honestly – would you be able to say ‘yes’?

You see for most people the answer is ‘no’. Either because they have given this responsibility to their financial advisor, or they legitimately have absolutely no idea. They have taken no real interest in it or they just think that everything’s fine when really it isn’t.

So my little tip for you today is “fire your financial advisor” – sit down and really start to educate yourself on where your money is right now, and what it’s doing for you. Because shift work is stressful enough and when you’ve got other stressful things going on in your life as well – i.e.; money worries – it’s only going to accelerate your fatigue and ill health.

No offence to all of the financial advisors and stock brokers out there but realistically nobody really cares more about your money than the person that’s actually earning it – and that of course is you!
